Tulsi – Purifying & Cooling For Skin And Hair

Tulsi’s botanical name is Ocimum Sanctum. It is also known as Holy Basil and is a sacred plant in Hindu belief. Tulsi (like Aloe Vera) is known to have anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties and can be used on both skin and hair. Tulsi will help to keep scalp and roots clean and dandruff at bay.
Tulsi has purifying properties and can help to prevent acne or any irritations of the skin.
Tulsi has cooling properties and keeps scalp cool reducing scalp conditions such as itchiness and dandruff. Great to use in hot weathers for itching scalp as it will cool scalp. Tulsi will keep hair clean and healthy thereby promoting hair growth. Tulsi will also leave hair shining.
Instructions for use:
Hair: Combine Tulsi, Amla, Aloe Vera, Bhringraj, Brahmi, Hibiscus, Neem, Reetha and Shikakai powders with water into a paste and apply to hair for a wonderful scalp treatment. Leave on for at least an hour and wash out.
Face: Combine Tulsi with Multani Mitti, Aloe Vera, Neem, Rose Petal or Orange Peel powder; mix with water or rose water (or milk if you have very dry skin) into a paste and apply to cleansed, damp face. Leave on for at least 30 mins.
